On my way to buy either a Maxima or M35, I was encouraged to stop by and see/test drive an Azera. My wife and I walked away more than impressed. Unfortunately all the local dealers are out of stock on the Limited with nav. and it will be some weeks before any are available. I would like to get some feedback from forum members who are currently using the model with nav and bluetooth.

During coasting, (foot off the gas paddle) from 40-60 mph the RPMs stabilizes at 1100RPMs then feels like the car down shifts and RPMs rises 200-250 RPMs. The car is still in the same gear. This happens two to three times before actually down shifting to a lower gear. Has anyone noticed this? Is it normal?
This is happening in fourth ands fifth gears. I'm think about taking it to...

I am currently considering purchasing a New 2007 Azera Limited (Ebony Black & Tan Leather) and wanted to know what would be a good drive off price?
The dealership wanted $26,600
The deal also includes them paying off my 2006 Sonata GLS (4cyl) with 44k
which i owe 9700 (they were giving 9250)
Here is a link to the car info
I absolutely love the...

My Azera door speaker covers are covered in cloth and my car happens to have a beige interior. As hard as I try, I get the odd foot scuff mark on the cloth. I don't understand why they put cloth on these speakers (yes it does look nice but not too practice). Does anyone have have comments if I have any options to replace these cloth covers or how I can get the black scuff marks off of the...

This is off topic for this forum but I believe it is non the less important to all automobile owners.
Where does your gas come from They want to find out just how much we are willing to pay.

My wife and I live in the country with gravel roads. Also our farm to market roads are rough and have lots of uneven surfaces due to the expansion/contraction factor of the clay soil in our area. As a result the key fob on our Azera whacks the dash board and the steering column as we drive along. I found some felt pads at Home Depot which are 4 X 6 inches and about 3/16 inches thick with an...

With the exception of a couple of posts last month, business and domestic demands have kept me away from this board for a while. To recap what brought me here back in late 2006, I had purchased a 2007 Ultimate Limited for my wife’s birthday in October after searching the sparse local 07 inventory for a pearl white with gray interior. I secured the purchase by phone from a dealer about sixty...

My 07 Santa Fe has a dashboard that isn't angled as much as the Azera so there is no sun glare on it. Also, the blue lighting is bright enough to see the instrumentation even in extreme sun light.
Not so with the Azera. The pale green lighting doesn't seem to provide enough light to see the instrumentation in the middle of the dash very well, during very bright days. It's...

It is time to clean the leather seats on our new Azera at the 2700 mile mark. I am leaning toward using Lexol products as I have heard them recommended for leather in other cars.
What are your experiences?

In case you're not already sick to death of them, here are a few pics I took this weekend testing out my new wide-angle camera. Some wide shots & some details. Thor first, Soo-Dae next. They're dirty cars... but maybe caught a few cool accents & guide lines.

Hi, We just bought an 06 Azera Limited, mint condition with 49,000 miles ($15,500.) This is our first ever "car" purchase having only owned Ford p/u, GMC Suburbans and a Yukon. I think we're going to love having a car but a stressful decision nonetheless. I drove the car 59 miles today and checked the Average Fuel Consumption gauge which read 15mpg. Well, we've never had a...

Last week while waiting in the Azzie,my Best beloved came out of the store with purchases and I pushed the unlock button for the doors. The drivers side rear door failed to unlock. Went to the dealer on the following Monday and they determined it was a faulty actuator switch. It had to be ordered and arrived the following Monday. Had it installed today. They said it would take 45 minutes to 1...

I am new to this forum as I just stumbled upon it yesterday.
I am looking for information on any company that provides a direct harness for an I-Pod port. I know that several companies have this for other cars, but I have yet to find one for Hyundai, specifically the Azera. I have found in line FM Modulators, but would rather have a direct connection if possible. I don't have a...

Hi,
I have a 2006 Azera Limited with the ultimate package and has around 21k miles. Around 17k miles, I started to noticed that there was a slight shifting (maybe 1/8") of the driver seat when the car came to a stop. The movement is forward on stops and occasionally backward on moderate acceleration forward. I am a fairly gentle driver as I don't slam on brakes or accelerate...

Yesterday my son and I were cruising along when we suddenly heard a terrible rubbing noise:o. It sounded like the tire was rubbing the wheel well. It turned out to be a rather large plastic shield looking thingy which had come loose and was scraping the road. I pulled into a parking lot where my son was able to reach under the car and "press" it back into place after which we drove...

It still feels odd to complain about minor things but again, the car is new, so I expect things to be pretty well sorted... and here it comes:
When I turn off the environmental controls entirely (system "off"), the system continues to blow air into the cabin, through the vents, as if it was on, but set very low. If it's all the way cold when you turn it off, it continues...

The dealer replaced the 041 struts with 040's a while back, but not as much improvement as I had hoped for. Took the covers off today and noticed the below.
The center post has a nut with a green mark on one side.
The round top panel has two green lines.
One of the three posts on the sides has a green dot in the center.
Do these marks mean anything?
Should they all...

This is a rather broad topic but consider it a general discussion. The Azera may be too young to provide any meaningful responses, but I wonder, has anyone, especially folks who use more miles / drive harder, gotten any indication of design flaws in the car? I'm not just talking about something that was an unusual and rare failure on YOUR car, especially of a wear part; I'm talking about...
