Hello friends and fellow Hyundai car owners,
I found the following site that has lots of technical information about all Hyundai models. The information is similar to the big maintenance books that Hyundai dealers have in their workshop garages. I hope you all find it useful.

Hello,
I have a 2002 XG 350 which I absolutely love except for a nagging seat problem. It seems I am having to adjust the seatback everytime I get in the car. It's always in a recline position after I leave the car parked. Weird thing is I have never noticed it actually move while I'm watching it.
Anyone seen this problem or heard about it?
Thanks much

My friend owns an 04 XG350L and has been very happy with it. No problems so far. It's a beautiful car and feels like its well built.
As for the warranty, i have that the bumper to bumper covers almost everything , but it does not cover the radio and paint .Is this true?

just purchased a 2004 XG350L and it seems to be a great car. I have one small problem though. I cannot seem to get any air through the vents at the back part of the center console after depressing the rear ventilator switch (located to the right in the climate control cluster). I have tried all modes of airflow and rotated the air flow control knob for these rear vents --- all to no avail. I called the dealer but he just said "it should come on but don't expect much air out of there". I feel just about nothing at all.
Does anyone have any suggestions about how to get that rear air flowing?

Two primary issues that has caused with my car is transmission, and "check engine" light. The transmission sometimes shift harshly between gears while in automatic mode,I've taken the car in three times for this issue, and have been told this is only the computer code problem. The transmission computer is ceared, reprogrammed, and the transmission runs smoothly again. The "check engine" light(CEL) has been more insidious.About ten months ago the light started coming on,i took the car to dealership .No cause of light was ever detected.Since than i have taken the car three more dealership in two countries and the
problem has not been still rectified.

Sanuvel this side,I have only had big cars, Now i am thinking of doing something new and want to purchase XG-350.
As from many reliable sources i heard that XG350 has everything .The car is beautiful and the most thing which i like about car is the comfortable rear seat, but still I am worried about getting aggravation and problems.
Do I buy or look elsewhere ?

I have owned by XG for 8 months and I have had several problems. I'm asking here for a bit of advice because I'm so tired of the Hyundai dealer I take her to. They can never find anything wrong yet it is so evident there is something wrong.
Anyway, I was driving home last week and she was idling very high. Usually I can't feel the engine at all at a red light. Shaking and I could hear the engine idling like a hot rod !
The gears have started to change when they want to or not at all. Driving at 90km in 3rd gear is not good, neither is turning a corner in 5th.
On acceleration she feels like she's going to stall and she shakes bad and loses power going up hills. The dealer doesn't take me seriously because "I'm a female". Does anyone have an idea what might cause this so I don't sound stupid explaining myself (yet again) when I take her in (yet again).
Your help would be so appreciated !

I have decided to purchase a 2004 XG300 in the next few weeks. I am looking for advice on how to negotiate the purchase price in Canada. How much actual negotiation room is there from MSRP .
I have read about Faxing a few dealers in your area for quotes ...
what kind of results have you had in doing this?
