I have a 2002 XG350L and I need to know two things:

1. What are the best tires you guys would recommend? I'm talking about reducing road noise and increasing handling here.

2. What is the best ECU reflash for this model? Who makes it, how much does it cost, and could you provide a link?

'02 XG350 with 155k Km on the clock. The transmission has started a noise which varies with road speed and does not vary whether in Drive or Neutral. My guess is CV joint(s)? It could also be a wheel bearing but they generally make a throbbing noise when going bad.

Has anyone had to have struts replaced on their XG300L? Mine is a 2001, and I just paid a ridiculous price to have all 4 replaced. The price the dealer wanted was even more ridiculous. I've experienced three or four dead battery situations because the beep warning does not work when I exit the car and the light switch is in the "on" position. As soon as I hot-shot the battery everything is fine so I don't think its a bad battery. Is there a fuse I can look for that controls the beep warning?

Ok. So the other day my trustworthy buddy was borrowing my car and while driving, it went into neutral while still in gear. I finally had a look at it and sure enough when i start the engine and try to shift it into reverse, d, or 1or 2, it stays disenguaged like it's in neutral. Most mornings it switches back and forth between gas and petrol. It is supposed to start on gas....but takes a few kilometers before it'll stay on gas. The gas guy reckons that there's not enough power going to the solinoids to keep it on gas.
