In the last few weeks, the oil light on the dash board has intermittently flashed at me, especially when I brake.

I have checked (and got a few others to check for me) and there is plenty of oil in the car, and it is not overfull either.

I bought my 1998 Accent GL (automatic) on 118,000 km and it's worked great until now, (126,000 km). However, recently I've been having problems switching into overdrive. Starting a week and a half ago or so, it would occasionally refuse to switch up - regardless or whether I restarted the engine, etc. Other than that, it would work without me doing anything special.

An earlier topic addressed the key getting stuck in the ignition. I have a 95 Accent with an Auto trans. Someone mentioned disconnecting the battery to get the key out. This didn't make sense until i tried it last night and sure enough, it worked.

Recently my '95 Accent would turn off while I was driving, and the lights and radio went out. If I jiggle the key the power goes on and off.

Now it has trouble starting, the key pops back and the car won't stay started unless the key is held in place.

I am considering producing a turbo kit for the 95-99 Hyundai Accent X3 1.5 SOHC. In order to do so I will need at a minimum 10 people to be 100% interested to start the production. A 50% deposit will be required per person to start production of their kit. The kit will consist of the following:

Tubular Equal Length Turbo Manifold with T3 Flange
Internally Wastegated T3 Turbo

When it is wet/cold outside, my Accent squeaks embarrassingly. The belt is pretty new, and I think it's fairly tight. Could it be a pulley and not the belt maybe? Do you guys know a simple way to stop the squeak? I've heard of using bar soap or something?

My brake lights and back up light don't work. The bulbs are fine, the fuses look OK, and I replaced the T/L fusable link with the horn one to see if that was the problem, but they still didn't work.
