I'm surprised nobody here noticed the news from this past week....
"Our first U.S. hybrid is going to be the Sonata," Krafcik told reporters at an event hosted by Hyundai. When asked about the timing, Krafcik said the Sonata hybrid was likely to be launched in the 2010 calendar year.
That timing could make the upcoming Hyundai hybrid one of the first...

So do any other Hyundai dealers add these "market adjustments" to the MSRP? This picture happens to come from my local dealer (name withheld to protect the guilty). They also own Nissa, Mazda, and a Mitsubishi dealers, all of which do this market adjustment BS. Most adjustments were $999 (even for a big-a$$ gas guzzling V8 Nissan SUV), but the Nissan Versa was...

They're in the usual place, but here's a synopsis:
1. Running E85 fuel in your NF Sonata. Don't do it or your warranty is history.
2. Manual Drivers Seat Height Adjuster Lubrication - fixes a squeaky drivers seat.

Hi,anyone any ideas on the 'click' that comes from the front brake area as i apply the brakes, it usually happens at between 15-25 mph (not noticable at higher speeds). Car is early '06 I4 and only has 14000 mls on it. My thinking was maybe sticking caliper or anti rattle shim on the pads, sometimes from left, sometimes from the right, sometimes not at all !!

Wondering if anyone else has experienced this ? I'd posted in July about the 'need' (?) to replace the rear brakes on my '07 GLS at 18,600 mi...I know . We began to hear the tell-tale metalic squeel primarily when turning the steering wheek to the right. Took it in and the mechanic and service guy indicated that the rears were worn down, mainly on the left. Being that I was...

Anyone hear about a road race from Las Vegas to the east coast?? Yesterday along I-80 Between Omaha,NE and Lincoln,NE the Police stopped a car going 127MPH. The driver said he was on a road rally and was trying to get to the east coast fast. The car was inpounded and the driver jailed. In the Videos I was looking for a white Sonata (V33) But did not see any. Anyone else seen or heard this???

So I'm still questing for a new car, and I did settle on Sonata SE V6 w/ premium package. Only problem is that after taxes and the rebate the price tag is hovering around 24k (if I'm lucky). I'm not gonna get a lot for my trade in, and I only have about 4k to put down. Doing the numbers my payment would end up being around 325/month (!!). Not gonna happen right now. I could...

In 2008 ltd- is there a speedometer calibration the dealer can do? I have found that the analog speedometer is ~3MPH faster than actual at 55MPH (using a couple of different high speed GPS that match other cars dead on). I know it is not much, but it seems unfair that my lovely car will rack up miles quicker than it should.

Has anyone ever gotten a spoiler put on the trunk by a Hyundai dealership? Do they even do that? I have a silver 07 Sonata SE and would love to get a spoiler for it. I do realize that I could buy one online but I want it installed at a dealer so that I can go somewhere if things don't work out. Do you know if holes have to be drilled into the trunk or if its just glue?

Hi,
I've noticed that my transmission takes 1 second (say the word one normally) to kick into gear after I put it in drive. If I don't wait for it to kick into gear and push the accelerator (after it's in drive) then it jumps into gear and lurches forward. Other than this the shifting if flawless. I'm wondering if this is a problem I should have looked at or it's...
