Howdy All! I just found this site, which is good, as I am having a problem that I need some advice about.
I was in a wreck about 6 weeks ago which demolished the left fron end of the car, and necessitated a visit to my insurance company's body shop. When I got it back a couple of weeks ago, I noticed that my parking lights no longer flash when I lock the car using the remote...

Hi, I'm considering buying an Elantra GT 5-door. My first child is due in early October, and we are looking for a cheap, reliable car which will fit a carseat in the back, and a stroller and other misc baby stuff in the rear hatch. I'd appreciate if anyone with kids can share their experience with the 5-door, especially how easy it is to load and unload a large stroller in the back....

My wife has a 2001 Elantra w/90k miles and the light, ""malfunction indicator light"" has reared its ugly head. Neither of us are trusating souls of dealerships as we have had work performed that was not required. We are constantly concerned of service departments "loading up" back-end profits with items that may not be necessary.
Enough of the speech: Has...

What exactly does a fuel filter do? I have not had mine replaced on my car and it was recommended at 52,500 miles and i am at 58,100. I finally found my owners manual and I was wondering if that could cause my car to have problems accelerating?? The check oil light keeps coming off and on. The other day I removed the oil cap and the light went off. Could that be it? Any suggestions would be...

About 3 weeks ago my husband ® did the 60,000 mile maintenance, including flush/refill radiator. A few days later I tried a/c for the first time. It used to run all the time under the 1/2 way mark. Yesterday morning I tried the a/c to...

Hello yes I new at all of this stuff, I have the R34 body kit in the garare and I am going to have it put on soon , is it easier to put it on myself or have someone else do it. Also I know of some trimming that needs to be done to the sides of the kit. I do not have new shoes for my car yet, but that is coming , I know that I want 5 spoke , smoky gunmetal for the rims, and I want 16s or 17s low...

Just bought an 01 elantra GLS from a friend with 58000 miles. I wish I had test driven it more, but after taking it on the highway, I realized that this car has dangerously low pickup - It doesn't seem to be shifting at the right times and the RPM's get really high. After a day or so, the check engine light came on.

My Hyundai shakes at about 120km/h but it shakes for about 2 seconds, then stops about 2 secondes and then starts again like that. Is it wheel balancing? Or something else? I just find it strange that the shaking starts and stops like that.

I just purchased an '05 Elantra GT Hatchback and I love it. Only thing is I need mud flaps and calling the dealer got me a price of $90 for the four plus an hours time, probably another $80!
Does anyone know where I can get OEM or aftermarket mud flaps for that car (would another years model fit?) and would I void any warranty if I installed them myself?
