I am planning of buying a new set of rims online..but I have a problem..I don't know the type of rim installed on my ride..the currently installed rim has a hubcap of mitsubishi so I guess its the same with mitsubishi lancer..all I'm sure is it's a 4 hole rim..heheheh..

Is there a way to find out the type of rim installed in my ride?

is it a pcd 100 or pcd 114?

for some odd reason my car has lost alot of its power ive taken it to 3 mechanics and i cant figure it out + it keeps chewing up motor oil like no tomorrow and its not leaking cause theres no oil on the ground in the morning ive even put it in the garage with a white huge sheet of paper i started the car for 10mins turned it off nothing and sometimes its sitting at high revs then it will be gone...

I just noticed that my temp gauge was not...

my 95 elantra gls 1.8L(manual tranny) idles fine until it warms up. once it warms up it will stall if i dont keep giving it gas. occasionally instead of stalling it goes into a rough idle. was lookin for any insight someone can offer

I have a 1.6L 1993 Lantra that seems to have developed a serious overheating problem. With obvious things out of the way the usual suspect is the head being cracked but a mate of mine said that they are normally good. So it could be the headgasket. Has anyone had any trouble with there car and if so what was the outcome?

I fixed up a 94 elantra and am looking for some rims and tires. I called around and was told that the rims have to be from a 94 elantra, and can't be from a 93, 95 or any other year elantra. I've never had this problem with VW or Honda so it kind of a shock to me. I just thought I'd ask here if anyone knows if this is true or not. Thanks.

I am getting a beeping sound once i try to insert the keys to start. Even after starting the beep sound stays. There are no warning indicators. The beep stays even if the doors are closed and the seat belt is on.
The step light dosen't go off. Whenever it goes off the beep stops.

My daughter purchased this car about 7 mths ago , unfortunately without the owners manual. Recently she's been getting a dashboard light coming on & we don't know what it is/means. It goes on and off periodically, according to her (faulty?) and to date hasn't seemingly effected the running of the car.

1994 Elantra, 90k miles, 1.6L, 5spd, base model. great forums, but haven't seen anyone else with this problem that i could find. the car starts just fine and idles until it gets warm. after it warms up, the idle lopes. it doesn't have a tach so i don't know the exact range, but it is definately noticeable. any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I took the door panel off and had a look, the window winder seems to operate with these wierd cable things that pull the window up and down. I have a 1992 elantra 1.8L DOHC auto trans that wont start. Took out the spark plugs and found they were not firing. I also removed the timing cover to check the belt and removed the gas line to make sure it was getting gas, both were ok. Does anyone have any idea what it could be.

my airbag light came on when i started the car yesterday and wont go off. it does the standard 6 second flashing when starting the car, but then stays lit. is it possible to reset this to check if its a 1 time computer goof before i take it to the dealer? any help greatly appreciated

Hi Guys......My Lantra unleaded automatic 1.8 CDI sounds like a deisel when I start up in the mornings. This gradually dissapears after about 20mins driving. Any ideas. Tried different oils like cheap and the most expensive and the best to no avail. No probs with the exhaust apparently. Does not seem to effect the drive or performance just fed up waking the neigbours.
