Hey folks. When thinking of posting up a prospective group buy there's a few things to keep in mind.

- Set an expiration date for your group buy. This will keep people from reviving threads that are a year old wanting to know if the group buy is still on.

- Make a final post when it's over to state that it's ended.

- PM me if you'd like and I'll lock the thread once it has ended.

Also, if anyone would like a Poll created to help see who's interested in the buy just let me know and I'll create one. I just need the following info from you:

- Title for the poll, i.e., Great Group Buy on Widgets, Who's In ?

- Poll options: Yeah I'm in ! No thanks. etc.

- Start and End date for the poll. Usually best to start and end it to coincide with the timeline for the group buy.

Something else to keep in mind if you're going to be the "organizer and go-to guy" for the buy ... are you up to it and do you have the extra time to pull it off ? Often you'll get inundated with questions in the thread - do you have the time to check the thread several times a day ?

Unless you're able to have the items drop-shipped from the factory to their doorstep you'll likely be responsible for shipping and most people will expect the same type of service they'd receive if they ordered direct from the supplier. Plan on shipping as close to the day that you receive the item(s) as you can. Nobody wants to wait for a week while the supplier ships to you and then another week for you to get the goods in the mail to them, then possibly another week from when you ship until they get their hands on the merchandise.

Now that you have it all shipped out everything's done ! Not quite. Are you ready for the backlash you may receive because of damaged goods, broken parts, or just parts that don't work ? You'll definitely want to state how this will be handled up front; will you, the supplier, or both handle defective parts replacement ? Also don't forget about items "lost" in the mail - do you want to insure each item against this or at least offer "shipping insurance" to the buyer ?

The Xenon Halogen combo is a single beam HID bulb with a halogen bulb attached for high beam. Note that the HID bulb has a much longer lifespan (6x) than halogen bulbs. But if you rarely use high beams, this would work out great!

I have been building turbos for a long time and can do any type except ball bearing turbos, currently there is no way to rebuild them the cartridges arent serviceable. hi on the sonata section of the forum we are having a group buy
for hid conversion kit.the kit will fit the azera as well as the sonata
the headlight housings were made for hid lighting
but bulbs and ballasts not sold here in US and Canada cars.
kit is selling for 150 the more we get the join the cheaper it might go down.

There is a company near where I live that has been manufacturing springs for almost 100 years now and has just recently branched off from the industrial and military applications and has started making performance springs for automotive applications. I have been talking with the president of this company and have come to the conclusion that we will be able to offer a competetive spring at a good price for the 1996-2001 RD Tiburon.


Since this spring is custom made and tested for a specific application, it will be of much higher quality then mass produced performance springs (iE eibach, Tein, HKS)

This groupbuy will be able to move forward with as few as 10 people but the price gets progressively lower as we get more people joining in .

Here is a little table of what we could expect prices to be
10 orders- $255/set plus shipping
25 orders - $225/set plus shipping
50 orders - $205/set plus shipping

Since this groupbuy can go on with as few as ten people I beleive that it should only take 8 weeks (and hopefully no more than 12) to get the neccesary number of orders and the ship date for this groupbuy will be tentatively within two months after the order is put in, as these springs will be custom made. My proximity to the company will help cut down on the shipping time significantly since I will be able to pick the product up directly and ship it out within a day or two of completion.

Ok everyone, I have been in contact with a US distributor for k-sport coilovers in the U.S.A. for a few months now. I can get as many of these sets as people need with shipping taking no more than 5-7 days (not including holidays) to ship from the warehouse to your door once payment has been received and cleared from the bank.
