I recently bought a Getz prime 1.3 gls in India.
How do I confirm whetehr it is really a 1.1 l engine or a 1.3 l engine.

I drive my dad's getz gls ( non prime) as well which is a 4 year old car which seems more powerful tahn my new car.

I have just bought a new "ebony black" Getz 1.1L which seems to pick up scratches remarkably easily and I would like to know if this is a general problem with hyundai.

I have always driven ford cars before and comparatively they are less prone to this problem.

Hey all. I have a 2005 1.6l Getz. It's done 80,000kms and I've taken it to warranty a good 4 times now (in the space of a year).

Had it taken in today when a tire fitter noticed a split CV boot when replacing my tires. As you are aware, a split cv boot can completely stuff a cars CV when it fills up with dirt etc, or all the grease escapes.

I have a 1.4 L Getz and done only 700 Km. I recently filled it to the brim and did so again after 432 Km where it took 41.2 L (almost a whole tank.)

I thought roughly 430 Km to (almost) a tankful isn't very impressive. That translates to 9.5 L / 100 Km or for those from another planet, 24.7 MPG.

I was getting around 10 litres per 100 Km fuel consumption in my 6,000 km (8 month old Getz 1400). That translates to around 29-30 MPG. That is pretty bad, considering about 60% is open freeway driving.

I recently discovered something strange about my Getz and want to find out if it happens to all, or just mine.

I had some issues with the central locking remotes just failing to work on occasion, which could be fixed when the keys were 're-synced' in the ignition. Hyundai replaced the Body Electronics Control Module after a series of service centre visits.

I need to know if someone can guide me on where the o2 sensor;MAP sensor ; IAT and AFR sensors are or if there is a diagram available for locating thses components. Also does anyone know of a wiring diagram that is available for these cars.
