car you've ever owned? For me it was a very satanic 1990 Dodge Grand Caravan. In the first 25k, it had major engine and transmission problems. Within 4 yrs, almost anything you can imagine went bad on it including the paint. That was my first domestic car in many years and my last since.

I also had to put up the XJR today to grease the backs of the brake pads... they dry out, rust a little, get caked with dust and dirt, and the spring clips on the back of the inner pads aren't strong enough to keep them firmly seated in the piston, so they CHIRP when riding over bumps... and it's loud... very annoying. But easy to remedy. Just grease the backs of the pads once a year. Took...

It seems like upcoming diesel engined vehicles are as follows. But why now? I've seen Mercedes and VW diesels running around but other companies are entering the diesel market as well. In my area, diesel fuel costs around 50cents more than the premium gasoline. Is it worth it to own a diesel considering the fact that diesel engined vehicles will cost at least a couple thousand dollars...

I have to say that I didn`t appreciate Mr. Coupe`s description of my car as `a wanky ugly Alfa`!.

She comes with a tuned 2.0 direct-injection, variable valve timing engine with 166 b.h.p. `out of the box` & my Veloce version has lowered sports suspension.

The car is amazingly well-built & finished & is absolutely fully-loaded......I have truly been dragged...

why is it that all the other countries get the best cars and north america gets the milked out versions? in europe they have the ford focus rs (5 cylinder turbo charged 210hp) we have (had the SVT which only put out 170 hp) the zx3 (5) which only puts out 150 hp with the new 2.3 duratech engine.

I was wondering if anyone had any input on this...98 Chevy Prizm...The dash lights and tail lights won't work. They keep blowing the fuse. This problem started a month ago out of the blue...Any ideas where to start looking for the problem?? Thanks!

I know this is not the place for this question but I am at my wits end trying to find good aftermarket parts and forums like this one for my g/f's 2000 camry. She dies a little everytime she sees me get something cool for my car and she is desperately trying to find aftermarket grille's spoilers, etc that are made specifically for her car.

I drove for about 40 minutes in the morning to go somewhere and I pulled to McDonald's on the way home.
Something felt weird on my steering wheel. I seemed like the car was going wherever it wanted to. As I was checking the front tires, I found out that the right tie rod was broken/disconnected.
I was fortunate enough not to have the tie rod broken on the highway.

Had a look at one today. Bleck! It looks good, but for the SAME price ($27,500) as our Sonata GLS Premiums, you get steel rims, cloth seats, 148(?)or 158 HP from a 4 banger, no sunroof, and a whole lot of other "missing equipment." I think a spatula for cleaning out the sludge in the engine is extra... HA!

Ok, there's only one button that's got me stumped!

My missus got her an Astra recently (see title for model).

There is a button that sits higher that the interior light switches, looks like a 'power' symbol on it - like you see on any power switch on electrical gear (circle transected by a line).

Does anyone know what it does? We didn't get...

So, my girlfriend rear-ended a Chevy Avalanche about a week ago and tore up the whole front part of the car. Luckily the engine is in working condition but she is in need of a few body panels. Does anyone know where I should look online for a hood, bumper, or headlights? Or if anyone has anything for sale for a 01 Sonata please let me know. Thanks all
