I have a 2004 Santa Fe I am considering trading in. It has 93,000 kms on it and is still in great shape. It is an auto FWD.
I am curious to know what it might be worth as a trade in.
I still have a couple thousand left owing on it.
Ya know, why does a trip to dealer ALWAYS have to be such a crap-shoot? I mean, sometimes it goes well, but more often, it's like going into battle. Such is usually the case for me since I'm a repair shop's worst nightmare. I'm an ASE-certified auto tech (retired) with over 25 years of experience in the business. It never ceases to amaze me how these shops try to get away with...
My girlfriend has a 2002 Sante Fe with the 2.7L V6 engine. It has just turned 100,000 miles. I'm wondering what others have experienced out there with this specific vehicle after 100,000 miles or so. In other words, if properly maintained, will this car keep going reliably or is it going to start falling apart? So far I've had the front stearing ball joints replaced, the transmission...

I recently purchased a 2007 Azera and immediately registered with this forum. I found the link to hmaservice and went there and registered. After completeing the online registration process, a message appeared on screen stating "your password has been sent". I did not receive the password. I thought I might have made an error while filling out the online form so I tried to reregister...

As a 4 year Hyundai salesman and a new member to this forum, I was wondering what people thought of us compared to other salespeople from other makes. I have been told many times that we show an enthusiasm and general concern that Toyota, Honda and GM sales professionals cannot match. Thoughts?

I don't know what it is but I seem to be a target for people who like to talk smack about Hyundais. Usually I'm able to get them to understand that they're darn good cars but every now and again I get the type who pretty much says, "You're an idiot and have no idea what kind of car you're driving." And it's usually ignorant people who haven't been paying...

Is it my impression that Hyundai cars aren't comfortable to tall+big drivers? I test drove the sonata, the santa fe and the entourage today. While I think they are all great cars I came out with the impression that comfort for 6'+ tall drivers in all three cars isn't the best. I couldn't find the right seat adjustment (all three cars had power driver seat) to feel comfortable. It...

Hello,
I have a 2002 Santa Fe' that had a power steering leak. My local shop found the leak. It was in the line that runs near the radiator. Their "fix" was to cut out the portion of the line that ran under the radiator and using a rubber hose, they connected the lines back together.
My question is with the section of the power steering line they cut out...

Anybody have any more info than what's posted on the Ottawa Dilawri Dealer site about them paying off your lease, which is not much.
It says something about not being applied to current Caravan, Grand Caravan and Rams. Current meaning 2007-2008? or all years.
I'll probably call them later but I wanted to know what you people knew about this.
Thanks

Hi. I have an 04 Elantra GLS that the dealer said has a bad wrist pin, and they are going to put a new motor in. Does anyone know if puting in a new motor effects the title of the car at all (ie makes it a salvaged title?)?
Also is there anything else I should be aware of in this situation? I'm just a little worried because I just bought the car used about 3 weeks ago. Thanks for any...

Just bought a 2008 Sonata and financed with HMFC to get the college graduate rebate. I also got the $3,000 rebate to help pay off some high interest rate credit card. How long does it take to receive the rebates? I am thinking about refinancing with the local credit union for a lower interest rate. Thanks!

Anyone else notice increased valvetrain noise, especially when the engine is cold with synthetic oil? Pennzoil platinum 5w-30 in my case? I may just switch back to conventional oil.

Well, here's my first post, after my introduction at the welcome area. I hope someone can help me out.
I own a H-1 Van, it has double A/C, one in the front and one in the back, everything works fine, except that when you put hot air. It continues to blow, but no hot air, not even warm air. I've checked the hoses in the engine, everything seems to be fine. All the hoses are...

Dealer replaced the shocks on my Azera with no improvement. Called Hyundai Customer Service (1-800-)-see the dealer. SM agreed it rides rough over less than smooth roads, but nothing he can do. Called Hyundai-will relay to District SM and he may call you if he wants to. After no call, called CS again and asked for a supervisor. You cannot talk to one now, but one will call you within 24...
