I've just taken delivery of my new Tucson (GL V6 FWD) and there seems
to be a problem that I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing.

I noticed when I picked it up at the dealer that the daytime running
lights were always on regardless of the position of the parking brake.

In fact the running lights would turn on if the key was in the 'on'

I'm ordering a new Tucson CRDI and I would like to ask more information about it from person who is driving a tucson.

I am really interested in buying the Hyundai Tucson, the only problem is the small luggage compartment, and that you can't remove the airbag in front seat. But other than that it's seems to be a great car for that price.

I recently purchased a 2005 Tucson LX. While I am informed that it has a subwoofer I have not been able to locate it in the vehicle. If anyone has one can they tell me where it is so i can be sure the dealer did not ripp me off.

I have heard that Hyundai is cleaning up its act and is now tied with Honda according to JD Powers. Is this true? Thinking about buying the Tuscon but have some reserves because of Hyundai's reputation. Is the korean built engine an issue to be wary of? Was told that the aluminum engine just won't last more that 100,000 km's.

I loved my Santa Fé hat I drove for 2 years (50.000 kms) with no complaints.
But I hope the Tucson will give me more pleasure so I traded in my Santa and will get the new black Tucson next week (2 dec 2004).
