Hi Folks,
I'm looking at buying a second hand trajet here in the uk, but am confused about which models/years contain the CVVT engine rather than the older version which i understand is not as good. I've read one review here in the uk which suggest that all GSI models post 2004 have the CVVT engine - is this correct?

Had my 2.0 GSI Jet for only 1 week now (54 plate with 29k). Am please with the size and spec but it is a little juicy. My first full tank is heading for 23 urban mpg. Is that about right?
The only down side I've found so far is the quality of the stereo, VDO DC631 I think. Wondered if this is down to the head unit, speakers or both. It's a boomy sound with very little mid or treble....

My 2002 trajet consumed high water/coolant usage lately. 2 day once, it use all water in spare thank. But the temp. meter still at the normal (at the middle) even I travel long distance.
Anybody face the same problem previously?

Ive had a Trajet for a month now and am a bit concerned about a few things:
1) there is an occasional screeching from the engine, usually when starting up but sometimes also when taking off in first. Sounds like a fan belt or something ? Does this need to be looked at ?
2) more worrying, the main beams have dimmed considerably while driving. They go dim for a few seconds,...

Hi, i've just picked up a Trajet 2.7L fuel, Automatic Trajet from the dealers.
On the freeway home I noticed that at 100km there was a definite vibration,
I know that this is probably due to a wheel balancing, or lack of it, the car has new tyres and has been owned by the dealer to ferry service customers to and from town, however, i'd like advice on anything else which it could...

Hi All
I noticed this morning that the cabin fan/blower has stopped working. I've checked the fuse and it seems OK. Didn't have time to start swapping relays over to test them.
Anyone had this problem, and is there a simple fix before I have to start disembowling the dash to find the fan motor?
Thanks in advance

Trajet 2.7 V6, Mar 2000 build.
Vehicle will not start on the first crank, you need to turn key on then off 3 times before it will start.
Sometimes Immobiliser light will stay on and sometimes not after engine starts.
Codes have been cleared and live data checks OK while driving, suspect immobiliser issue.
Does any body know how to read Immobiliser codes or what a common issue...

The sound lasts around 1-2 seconds.
The car is a Trajet GLS 2003 with manual geerbox.
