Welcome Sound - removable from what models.

Investigating 2015 to 2017 Sonata cars and the Welcome Sound. A number of users in the Hybrid section (2016 - 2017 limited & Ultimate) have noticed we don't have an option to turn off the Welcome Sound. Even though it is in the user manual under Sound, even showing the screen in the instruction book the check mark to turn it on/off.

Can any 2015 to 2017 Santa Fe Sports with Limited / Ultimate models check to see if the Welcome Sound can be turned off ?
My old 2014 SFS w/tech and wife's 2014 SFS turbo can turn off the sound.

I wrote to Hyundai stating it's in the instruction book, yet not on our dashes. They reply, see your dealer !

2017 SFS 2.0T with Premium package - The welcome sound can be enabled / disabled via the information between the instrument clusters.
Manual page 4.90:

Welcome Sound • If this item is checked, the welcome sound function will be activated.
(if equipped)

We noticed it had been disabled picking up the vehicle after the remote starter was installed.

edit - sorry, had not read OP completely... sorry for being redundant, again

Even if it's not available in your dash settings, the dealer can probably turn it off some how with special equipment.

You obviously don't get my point.

I am saying that even IF there is no user selectable option in the menus, that the dealer would likely be able to disable it with their service/programming/diagnostics equipment. Most cars have various "hidden" settings that require the dealer tools to change.

Didn't think so.

It seem just the Hybrids can't turn off the Welcome Sound, even though it is stated in the Hybrid manual.
