I was in northern PA Pocono area with my 2014 Ver 8.5 map and trying to put in Route 191. Nope. No matter how I tried to spell it, RT 191, route 191, Hwy 191, it just did not want to register !
After using Google maps we got there. But then lost all cell phone connection for many miles. What does Android Car Play do without cell reception ?
Anyone have the new version map and how the heck do you put in Route directions. I know you do not put in North BLANK Street, only BLANK Street then choose the North / South from the selections.
THAT is the very reason I use a stand-alone GPS. Tom Tom in my case. As long as it sees a satellite, or two, I have dependable directions.
Sorry I can't help with an answer to you problem.
You said you were using google maps. I assume you would be able at that point to know where to look on the NAV map for your road.
If it was a business, I'd try the POI search. The best possible solution is if you have bluelink Navigation package, you can send destinations to the car via the app or website right from the Google Maps interface or search.
This was an antique store in Newfoundland PA. Not quite on the POI listing. Very tiny town.
I don't pay for the part where I can do that. The sending of a map is included with the ability to call Hyundia and have them suggest or search for something. I can only use "find the car".
I'll just have to use the phone to get the correct address. Places are starting to give GPS addresses on their fliers and web sites.
Just drove around with Ver 10 and so far not having any problems.
