I believe there is already an existing thread for this. I bought my D3S 5000k from HIDConcept.com for $122.00 shipped to Toronto. They are made in Korea and have at least a one year warranty. I bought a beautiful pair of fake Philips on eBay (6000k) but they would not spark up in the Santa Fe.
Good luck.

No pictures but definitely more white than the stock 4300K. Match the eye brow LED perfectly with a mild blue roll off at top. Stock had a more yellow roll off at top. I bought the 5000K and I have not had any issues as "flash to pass" still works without issue.

Nice find. When you install them, you will need to remove the connector first by depressing the tab and pulling the connector down from the bulb. The bulbs are held on with a bracket and secured with two Philips screws. You will need a short handle Philips screwdriver or one with a cut off handle to access the screws. When re-installing the screws, I suggest that you use tape to attach the screws to the screwdriver. You don't want to drop the screws in the lamp housing. There is also a grounding spring that you need to remove from the factory bulbs and install on the new bulbs. I think you will be happy with the bulbs and the nice white light.

Thanks for the detailed instructions Turbofan. It was very helpful. I have completed install on right (passenger) side and really love the White color. It matches with the LED accent. I took some pictures. But, the pictures do not show the difference clearly. Planning to have the left completed tomorrow.

Hi All:

Hopefully this is the right place for this question. I need some help. I have tried 4 different pairs of HID bulbs in my SF Sport 2.0T (US). They are different brands and they are 35W 6000K and 5000K. All of them randomly flicker when the engine is running. They do not flicker when the engine is off. I used 2 different sets of the warning cancellers with no luck. I'm having the issue with the low beams and the fogs (HIDS in both). Now, here is the puzzling part. I have a set of 4 HID bulbs that are 35 w 8000K that I used with my 2012 Sonata 2.0T Limited. They DO NOT flicker. This tells me that the cancellers, ballasts and everything else works. Some of the bulbs I am having issues with are the same brand and from the same company as the 8000K bulbs that DO work. I bought 2 relays I plan to connect this weekend to the battery (1 for lows and 1 for fogs). Hopefully that will allow the 5000K bulbs to work normally, since the 8000K seem too "blue". Has anyone else had this issue? Does anyone else have any ideas?

Here is how i determined whether it was the ballast and or ground. If the 8000K bulbs works fine on both sides then more than likely your grounds are fine. If the 6000K bulb starts to flicker try the same bulb on the other side. If it flickers then most likely its bulb itself, now if the 8000K were flickering then I would have to check the grounds. Are you using different ballasts for the 8000K? If not, the 6000K bulbs are faulty.

Thanks for the sanity check 2. I did the troubleshooting you mentioned. I am using the same ballasts, warning canceler, and wiring (except the 2 wires on the HID bulb obviously) for all the bulbs. I plan to connect a relay directly to the battery this weekend so the lights get power from there and not the OEM plug. Does anyone think this will help? I see the flickering in the low beams and fogs (HIDS in both, but more prominent in the low beams). I just have a problem believing it could be that many bad bulbs, but there is no other option I guess.

This thread is actually for factory HID bulbs which are D3S. There are several threads dedicated to HID upgrades and I am sure you will find what works for you. Personally, I would not buy just any HID kit without finding out what others have used that work. "Zenar" in Ottawa bought 55 Watt units and they work well without any problems. I read also somewhere, that it is best to install 55 Watt ballasts even if you use 35 Watt bulbs. You may also need capacitors as shown in "ImStricken's" YouTube video.
Good luck

They could be brighter but i'm not sure if it's just the Blesk bulbs. This is my first car with HIDS so i have nothing to compare to lol. I haven't used my actual fog lights ever since i installed the LEDS. Just looks weird with both of them on. Overall i'm quite happy with them.
