Software Updates...

With all the software in a car like the Santa Fe I am sure that they have updates from time to time. I know that for drivetrain updates the dealer usually updates them when your car is brought in for service, is this also how it works with interior updates or do you need to ask for them?

typically, I advise the service dept. to look for any available TSBs or software updates.

If you have a recall, the dealership should look that up at the time you come in. Just normal TSB's for any kind of reprogram or anything else must be looked up by the techs, or advisors if they do that. Techs won't reprogram a vehicle just because there's a reprogram available. I suppose they would/could if you requested to have the latest and greatest software.
