XM Data with your tech package/navi radio?

I purchased my Sante Fe Ltd with Tech package and am receiving my free 90 day trial of XM radio. Once, while using the navigation, I was informed that there was traffic ahead and was prompted select another route or remain on course. It was showing color coded traffic map at the time. I assume that was the XM Traffic Nav at work.

It only worked for a couple of days and stopped. Choosing Setup, Traffic on the touchscreen prompts me to call XM for a subscription. They (outsourced call-center) told me my particular radio doesn't have the capabilities!

I went on the website and requested a signal to be resent to the Sante Fe and nothing changed.

What are your experiences with the free trial? Are you getting XM Traffic?

I never received any traffic updates, and lord knows I run into some traffic.

Same car as you, but my SiriusXM traffic is not enabled, so not sure if you were briefly lucky or if I'm missing out during my trial!
