I have a 2009 Santa Fe. One day I tried to start my car, and it wouldn't turn over. I thought it might be the battery, so I put the jumpstarter on and tried to start it. Everything comes on, except it won't start. Come to find out all the fuses blew. After some mulling over We put a new fuse box in it. Three fuses still blow and it won't start. Fuses 14 25 and 26. Any idea what to try next ?
Some fuses blew and you replaced the whole fusebox. WOW...that's a bit extreme.
My guess is the three fuses are the SNSR fuses which suggests you have a short somewhere on the engine wiring loom.
It's odd that all three fuses blow though. The only thing that I can think of that's common to all three fuses is the engine PCM. What I'd suggest is you disconnect the engine PCM, replace the three fuses then bypass the engine control relay to apply power to the fuses. If the fuses don't blow now that the PCM is unplugged that's where your fault lies....unfortunately.
The fuses blew more than once, it had appeared that there was a problem in the connections of the fuse box itself. Believe me I'm not replacing a part on a whim, but thank you for the advice I'll look into it.
