Hi!

Hoping someone can help... Installed DVD headrests in my 2010 Sante Fe Limited and have all the wires dangling down through the bottom of the seat. I couldn't figure out how to get access to the cigarette lighter wires to 'splice' into the existing wires so I could use a splice clip to wire my headrests in. Instead, I simply soldered on a plug and plugged into the cigarette lighter.

Any idea how to gain access to the wires in the cigarette lighter in the console, or remove the console to get access to those wires?

Thanks!
Daniel

You need to pull the shift knob and then remove the console cover (looks like it's only "snapped in".

Create yourself a free account at www.hmaservice.com and you will find instructions and graphics explaining the procedure to remove the console here
SANTAFE(CM) >2010 > G 3.5 DOHC > Body (Interior and Exterior) > Interior > Console > Repair procedures

Good luck.
