I have been looking (entire internet) for a replacement for my wood dash inserts!!
My vehicle is a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe with gray interior which came with a "dark gray" wood trim !!! (plastic)
Would like to replace with OEM brown trim as comes with tan interior for Santa Fe vehicles.

The only web site that has OEM product is www.carid which states that product "does not cover completly" and looking for
"moded wood dash trim" which will cover completly But, not available anyware on internet!!!
Need OEM kit (brown) to cover only wood trim pieces on dash/console/doors.

If anybody has information on OEM kits for 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe please let me know !!!
Thanks,
Roy

This may be a shock, but your dealership has a parts department!
Be prepared to bend over though.

Trim

I've been looking for the very same thing, a wood trim for my 2009 Limited AWD Santa Fe (I have the same grey trim I want to replace). I saw some pictures on the Net where there was a 2009 with nice trim so they are out there but I certainly haven't found them yet. Any ideas anyone?

Have you tried salvage yards? Just last week I was quoted 70 for 4x door cards (with the inserts) and both dashboard inserts. They're pretty much unwanted parts and would normally get crushed.

The only way you'll get around some of the material not showing is to cover it by removing it.

New parts would be prohibitively expensive.

I am looking to do the same but to get rid of the wood and have a polished aluminum or carbon fibre.

I thought I'd be able to live with the fake wood trim, but it wound up bothering me everytime I got in the car. I used 3m carbon fibre vinyl and dinoc glue and it covered very well. The material is very forgiving and hard wearing. It was probably 3 years ago and never posed a problem - it also has the benefit of being cheaper than a lot of the dash kits. Attached photos aren't great but you get the idea.

Here in the UK the CM was revised in 2009 and the later dash inserts are a straight swap.

Go for it - it's way too visible if it bothers you!

I meant to add a second attachment.
