I went to my local parts shop and their catalog only lists the part number for the front windshield wipers. What is the correct replacement wiper for the rear window on our '08 Santa Fe? I know the part number will very amongst brands but they should all cross reference each other so any part number is better than what I have now.
Thanks

The Trico number for their basic blade is T14A.

FYI: Driver's = 24", Passenger = 18", Rear = 14"

I do not think that you can buy it (or a replacement part made by another manufacturer) in your local parts store. At least here in Ukraine, the only option is to buy an original Hyundai part from a dealer. The windshield wipers, however, are a completely different story - you can buy a set from any manufacturer you like.

[b]canderson,

Have you tried it? I have tried standard blades (Bosch and Michelin - not Trico) on the rear window wiper, and they did not fit, because of the way the blade is connected to the arm.

I have one in the garage but not yet installed. Trico claims their blade is specific to the Hyundai rear, so I hope they're right. I haven't seen anyone else make that claim, nor do any of the others seem to want to show a replacement for the rear.

Added note: I did not see a Trico sub in their Neoform or Winter blades ... only the ExactFit model. Just checked their web page, and that seems to confirm that they still only make the one model in a Hyundai replacement:

I actually bought one of the "cut to fit" refills and just replaced the rubber and spline. Seems to works just fine.

All you do is work and end of the rubber loose on the old blade and slide it out of the wiper arm. Then you feed the replacement back the same way, taking care not to let the rubber get outside of the little grippy-arm support thingys. (I had to get technical here! )

So far, so good!

[b]FOUND IT!!!

I found a direct replacement blade today at CarQuest Auto Parts. 15 second swap out, just lift arm from the glass and tip the blade out 90 degrees and it just pulls off. The new blade slips on, tip it in 90 degrees, and tilt arm back onto the glass.

Part #14-5A (Made by Trico, Exact Fit)

Yup - the "ExactFit" was the only one I found, too. Finally got it put on last night. Didn't have any problems fitting it that I don't usually have as I klutz around with any other wiper install. I just wish they had their better blade in a size that fits. Wonder if they'll eventually offer their winter blade in this size?

It's a wonder that I didn't scratch the window with the junk that I was wiping off that feathered the original blade edge a bit.
