Atos 2010 GLS- idling hiccup, small but noticable

Hi from South africa.
Last week, bought a 2010 Atos with 57,000kms on the clock. The service history is clean - every service done on time/date. The previous owner just did the "90,000 kms" service - the major one - at 56,000kms a year ago. (yes, the car sat for a year doing 1000 kms over 12 months...)

The car starts clean, idles fine, but there's a slight hiccup, as if it skips a beat every 5 seconds or so. Took it to hyundai service center. Had a 105,000kms service done (required for the warranty for used cars). They adjusted the spark plug gaps, tightened the vbelt; and then wrote on the job card, "this is characteristic of this model." The head mechanic mentioned, "if it's not worsening while climbing a hill in gear, then nothing to worry about. If it is, then may be the tappets."

I tested it uphill - no increase in the hiccups/skipping. Power is fine, shifts fine. when turning on the AC, the idle kicks up RPMs, and the hiccups/skipping goes away.

Anyone else with the same? Thoughts?

First post,
Thanks in advance...
Last car was a 80 series cruiser...this is a change.
