That appears to be the "thermostat housing". On some engines these can become porous over time and leak (common on the XD series 2.0L), and they can also be damaged if the thermostat is not properly seated when tightened down.


The good news is that it is a relatively inexpensive part. What model car are you working on?

amica 2001 1.0 I cant find on the internet I tried housing thermostat but nothing

Try an ebay search for the Hyundai part number : 25611-02502 or ' Japanparts VAC-H01 '
