I`m not sure that it`s a dent...Could be a reflection, seems to be a lot of them..Can`t imagine that they would put it on the floor if it was...

Try to hang in there luck11...It`s a very nice looking ride..

If your dad needs his truck back, is it possible you could cut a deal for a long term lease vehicle at an acceptable price?...If I owned a rental agency, and wasn`t renting my vehicles all out on a regular basis, I could be talked into it...

I think you did the right thing. But if you're not 100% sure about getting the LWB when it's available, you better have a second choice ready.

Treat your dad to an extended stay in Florida. I'm sure he's worth it, plus you get the use of his truck longer.
John

Thanks everyone.

I was thinking of a lease/rental option, but its not inexpensive, and I would rather be putting that money towards paying down the loan on a vehicle.

Will try to hang in there as long as I can. Keeping my fingers crossed.

luck11, I would be curious to know what your second choice is and why... this forum may help you make the final decision

To me right now it is either the LWB ( 0-60 mph 6.4 secs ) or 2013 Mazda CX-9.
Factors for my decision: 3rd row, powerful push, better than average CUV handling, quiet cabin.

I would say that the silence on the production date issue from Hyundai is all the affirmation I need to conclude, that the LWB is going to have a long delay in reaching the dealers.

I speculate that this is all speculation.

I am rather curious though as to why anyone would think that a manufacturer would disclose the delivery date to someone off the street. If they did do that and then the date slipped or maybe even moved up, people would then respond with "Well, that's not what you told me earlier!".

Hyundai told the sales manager at my dealer and not someone off the street when to expect delivery and April - June was the timeline they quoted.
