Default Noob Question - Bluetooth

So I just got the car yesterday (2013 GT).

Paired phone up (Razr M) and uploaded contacts and call history. If I call using the radio phone button, everything works fine.

However, if I use the green button on the steering wheel to initiate a call, seems like every time I get the message stating no call history found, and it re-uploads from my phone.

Is this normal?

Thanks.

It uploads each time you start the car it should remain in history until you switch it off thats how it works in mine. Go into the Phone settings menu and make sure auto download of contacts is set to on.

Thanks

Have you tried using the button above it to initiate a call? I have not tried initiating a call with the green button.

The green button should show a list of your last calls... but you can only select the top one with the steering wheel, not very cool.

Day 2 with car.

Thanks for all the replies!

Yeah, Green button loads history once per trip / engine startup.

Button above it voice dials, and actually works better than any other in car voice dialer I've ever used. I've made probably about half a dozen calls with the voice dialer ("Call Wife") etc, zero times did it come up with the wrong contact, and I have hundreds of contacts.

Loving the car so far, such a different ride than my 2011 Sedan (MD body). Sport steering and seat bolsters are awesome. Probably should have sprung for the sport suspension but didn't want the heavier 17" wheels.

Thanks again all!

Yes, voice dial is amazing, it recognizes your contacts perfectly. The only minor, minor issue is we cannot use it to dial a number starting with * or #... Like the cops, towing, radio stations... I tried "Dial star 4141 or Dial pound 945" but it doesn't work.
