Both ways? I do about 120 km a day and I thought that was bad!

I'm averaging ~30 as well, seeing a slight drop due to winter weather and colder starts.

Again, I'm still disappointed but I'm starting to get over it. I think I've just accepted it for what it is and am looking forward to getting a hybrid for my next car.

On a recent trip of 250 miles round trip, almost all freeway, I got slightly over 37 going and 35 return, but I was driving 10 to 15 mph faster.
So far with 2800 miles I am averaging about 29 overall.

Hey, since you're in Florida, how is the mileage with the AC? We haven't had the opportunity to test that yet in Canada

And the ones that complain about people texting and driving are some of the biggest texting while driving violators. Did you even consider that maybe, just maybe, someone was in the car with me and tried to reach over to take the photo?

Its a 135 km round trip commute 3 days a week. with 2 days of a 3 min drive to work. ( I work on a local railroad, hence the split areas of work )
I am hoping to get a little better mpg's after my first oil change and I am wondering about iridium spark plugs, and low resistance tires.

Ah I see, that makes it a little easier, I do 120 every day 5 days a week.

I'm also hoping get to some better mpg's after my first oil change which I'll be doing in about a week and a half.

I'm getting about 30-31 mpg during the work week. I'm driving a mix of city and hwy in the DC traffic. I'm driving about 2-3 hours a day for at least 150 miles per day. If I'm lucky and the DC traffic doesn't kill me, I'll get 33-37 mpg if traffic is smooth at 60-65 mph. Otherwise its all stop and go.

I run the AC here 90% of the time. On the trip I mentioned, I didn't use it going, but on the return I kicked it in about half way back. I've never done a with/without comparison, but in the winters down here when we use the AC much less, the overall mpg is about the same. Maybe 1 mpg difference tops.
