Default Winter Tire's installed thread, let's see them!

I see enough Canadians and Americans in the snow belt on this forum to make this worthwhile. I put mine on yesterday. They're Bridgestone Blizzacks, 205/55/16 on separate alloy wheels as they were only $20 more than steelies each and I figured why not. The first thing I noticed when out for a drive today was the softer, bouncier ride, but still very smooth. Now I'm ready for winter except for front mats but I have an old set while I await Novline or WeatherTech to have some ready for sale. Here's my set up:

Nice wheels LeMeez! Very jealous! My set up is Sailun Icebreaker (i think thats the model name) 205/55/16 on steelies. Got them for a **** of a price from a local tire shop. Good thing is when i upgrade to 18" Hyundai rims (dont know from what car yet) the snow tires will fit on the stock GLS rims Anyway here's a picture from yesterday!

I thought I would join in on the fun seeing as I have a sedan.

Put mine on today, 15" steel rims painted white with 195/65/15 Hankooks W409 iPikes

Car is dirty, crappy cell phone pic. Will get a nice one up when the car is cleaned up.

That's what it looked like here this morning except we had snow on the driveway too

My first impressions after driving in the first snowfall this morning is that I would agree. Between the Blizzacks and this car, it's fantastic for a FWD in the snow, traction and stopping.

Got these wheels at Costco for $85 each. I also bought the wheel kit which included 20 narrow lug nuts with their own socket and 4 hub centric rings for $15. The rings are almost not needed as the wheel is a 70mm opening and the hub on the car is 67.1 mm.

Wow, very unique, first time I've seen white steelies. Nice idea, looks good.

Like I said above, Costco, some will order them in and some stores had them in stock. The company is in Montreal, Mac Pek and you can see their catalogue at Macpek - pièces de véhicules lourds et roues d'automobiles.

They are beautiful, LeMeez! I have Blizzacks on my Volvo, and am not getting anything for the GT just yet. It's been a warm Fall, we may not get snow this year, but if we have to drive somewhere, we will take the car made for snow. This region is infamous for its YouTube bumper car snow vids.
