I'm in the same boat. I bought my car in August. They added $750 on my invoice for that; They told me it was the best, OEM, with bidirectionnal feedback. Never got any news about it. How can they know so much about something they never installed?
I'm thinking about getting refunded.

I'm sure my dealer had them last July. I'm pretty sure it's the same for most models.

Well, they told me they require a different "module" than on the Sedan though.

Same here still waiting. It is a different module than the other Elantra's. They were suppose to arrive end of Oct. but I don't think we'll see them before the end of the year.

I wonder what's going on... Fortin is already selling a transponder bypass kit working for the Elantra GT (www.ifar.ca)

Good news for you guys. I just talked to my salesman, he said the service dept. should have called me already for an appointment. They received the remote starters this week; so we should be all set soon. Give a call to your dealer just in case.

When my salesman said it was two-way (bidirectionnal) with feedback, was he telling BS? All the OEM remote starts that I saw don't mention such. If that's not the case I still have the email confirmation from him. No way I'm gonna continue paying over 750$ for it.

He was right, that's what they're installing here.
