Had my GT for 2 days and the nav system locked up and a small Windows type box popped up in the top left corner of the screen saying low memory. This happened a few times even after shutting off and restarting the ignition. A while later the system started resetting itself. 2 or 3 times in about 30 minutes. I have a 32gig memory stick plugged into USB. Removed it but no change. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come. My first Hyundai. Other than that it's a very nice car for the $$. Averaging 31mpg on 1st tank but working hard to get that. Is there a master reset for nav system?

Pulling the radio fuse should reset. Check your manual for a fuse diagram. It might be a better idea just to call dealer on Monday before you do anything. Let them order a new radio or whatever needs to be done. If you can take a pic next time it happens and email to service advisor.

Never had that on mine, sorry, sounds like a one off, call the dealer and see what they say, maybe needs a software update that the dealer forgot to do before delivery? Just a guess.

Yep I haven't had a problem with mine and I use it quite often. One of the best features of Hyundai is their great warranty, so I would call the dealer and let them work it out. Good luck!

So I think the issue may be related to syncing the contact list from my cell phone. I Had about 500 contacts from outlook. Now when push the phone button it says initializing Bluetooth. Won't go to phone setting to allow me to delete contact list. Tried pulling all fuses related to navigation and pushing reset button. Still can't get to phone settings. Looks like another call to dealer tomorrow.

After a trip to the dealer yetserday a new head unit is going in next week. So I don't want to repeat this again, has anyone else had success with syncing a large amount of contacts from their phone or using a 32 gig flash drive in the USB. These are the only 2 things I can think would have caused this problem. Dealer and Hyundai tech line claim to have never seen this before.

Update: original replacement head unit coming from California was cancelled due to no availabilty. Was it could be weeks to get a replacement so I requested one be taken from a car on the lot. 2 days later 1 miraculously arrived at the dealer. Had it install today and now I have a 1 inch crack in the dash next to left air vent and 2 scratches. The dealer is going to glue it. I said no way. I want my money back. They offered to replace dash. I said how will you replace the whole dash if you can't do the head unit without screwing it up. I opened a case with Hyundai. They are calling dealer tomorrow. This sucks.

Ummm, I took my dash apart myself to install a stereo and didn't screw anything up. I am by no means a mechanical expert either! Is just the silver piece cracked? What is scratched, the silver trim or the actual dash? If its just the silver piece, that is all just one unit and can easily be replaced.
