I didn't buy the rears as no one ever sits back there. My old Matrix rear seats were pristine new when I traded it in 8 years later, I had always left the rear seats folded flat for the dog to have lots of room.

My husband recently bought the oem ones but they are for the sedan... Before we open them will they fit my GT?

The only difference in the fronts is that the sedan ones have a little cut out for the gas lever. I was told the rears are quite different. For some reason Canadian dealers only have the Hyundai made by Weathertech front mats for the GT that don't have the cut out.

Hmm, well then I'll have to take them back to the dealership and complain that they sold us the wrong ones

Try the rear ones first if you have them already, maybe the difference is negligible.

No prob. I'll even do a video. If you don't see it in 3-4 days send me a PM to remind me.

So I took the ones that my husband purchased back to the dealership, and asked them for the ones specific for the GT. At first they couldn't find any different models, and I even gave them my VIN and according to their computer the GT doesn't even list all weather mats as an available accessory, so I'm confused.

I didn't do the video as its pretty cold and windy, but here are some pics of the dealer mats I got at the Sisley Hyundai in Ajax. As Imentioned earlier in this thread, the mounting hole did not line up on the passenger side, but the mats clearly made for the GT as you can see in the pics (even had the Elantra GT badge on them). They are a bit dirty now of course.

Thanks Octavian.
They look good. How much did you pay for them? Going to call the dealer and order them too.
