Post up the things that you don't like about your GT.
So far I heard people complaining about the door lock "beep" sound. What else? Thanks! Alex |

i can think of a few things i don't like...all pretty minor and inconsequential.
1. blue link app for ipad and android...terrible. 2. If i park and hit the "stop" button (I have the tech package) without putting it in park... instinctually i put it in park and then rehit the stop button and it starts the car, which i don't want Not sure what i should do instead... maybe just put it in park and walk away. 3. reverse back up camera delays if i don't wait a few seconds before throwing it into reverse when i first start the car. 4. Sunroof doesn't open more...and the pano roof is more fun for the people in the back seat, which i never have any. |

I wish the GT was electric, lol.
But I don't have one.

Gas mileage so far is disappointing. Still under 900 miles but am lucky if I get 28 or 29 on a tank with mixed driving and not accelerating very hard and little use of A/C.

Kinda glad I didn't get the tech package now :P
Only real issue I have with the car is that the sunroof and shade requires the car to be on when opening/closing (cant do it with acc or the 60 second timeframe after you shut down car) Back seat lights dont turn on with doors and rear hatch light is very dim. Other then that, veyr happy with the car. Gas mileage is fine, around 6.5l/100 km 37mpg (for the amercians) on the highway doing 100km/hr and around 34 mixed. As long as you drive the car like an economy car, not a performance car fuel mileage is good. |

I'm at 995 miles and averaging 39.6 MPG. I dislike that when you pop the rear hatch it doesn't open on it own. The button on the key fob is deceiving. |

I don't like the fact that you have to turn on the parking lights in order to get the daytime running lights to come on - and when you do the dash lights all come on and dim down. I would rather the DRL's come on automatically by themselves.
At first I didn't like the gas mileage, but now with about 2K miles on it, I am getting better mileage. Actually got a tank of 39.8 per computer (38.7 per paper), but that included a 200 mile hiway drive. Other than that, the car rides nicer and is quieter than the 2011 Sonata SE it replaced. |

Little annoyances not necessarily specific to GT but here they are:
-No lumbar support on base model -No sliding armrest on base model -No alloy wheels on Canadian base -Cannot control radio menus with the steering wheel (have to use the tune knob) -Phone button on the steering wheel gets you to last called numbers, not the phone book, and you need to use the tune knob to browse it. -Can only save 12 FM frequencies (FM1 + FM2) -No RDS on FM radio -No digital speedometer on trip computer -Steering still too stiff in comfort mode, tiring on long trips. -Wind noise. I don't have other problems that people just reported in this thread: -My back seats lights come on when the door is opened (I don't have the sunroof) -My DRLs are always on (thanks Canada) |
