I think I may have figured this one out. I was getting the same page on the trip computer and thought I had it fixed by resetting the over speed notification in BlueLink. Unfortunately it came back. Then I setup a Geofence, but didn't turn it on then set up a curfew from 2:00 AM to 2:30 AM. For the last two days I haven't had that notification show up. I won't say for sure that I have it fixed for a couple more days, but it looks promising

Any definitive solution to this issue that anyone has found?

My dealer states it's a "known issue" to Hyundai but nothing more than that. Frustrating and annoying. It sure seems like a software issue, but it's very odd to apparently only affect a select few GT's. Maybe the wrong software is on the car? Maybe software that is intended for a different model?

Any information would be helpful. Thanks much.

Try hitting the reset button on the steering wheel when that shows up on the screen. I have both the style and tech and have not seen that.

If evandyk is getting this error, and he purchased his car in Canada, then it is not BlueLink as its not an option here in this country.

I am having this same problem. I haven't tried the reset button solution. Since it pops up as soon as I start my car, I turn the car off and then restart. Not ideal. I'll try hitting the reset button, but it is really annoying, especially since it won't let you view anything else on your display while it is on there.

I don't use Bluelink, never set it up on my car, so I second the "not a bluelink problem" chorus. I also have the base model - no tech package, no style package.

The only workaround I have found for this problem is to press the cruise button on the steering wheel to activate the cruise control. In other words, turning on the cruise control. I have spoken with my dealership and they are saying it's a software problem where it's actually using a feature that was meant for the Genesis.

Something about not being able to use cruise control at a speed over 120 mph! I would have to floor it all the way across town before I even got close to 120 mph in this car! :-)

Of course I got the it's a "known issue" excuse from the dealership and that Hyundai is "working on it" with no timeline given for a solution. My guess is I'll be asking for a free replacement steering wheel by the time I actually get an answer to this - the cruise button will be worn out by then!

Possibly, but why does it only happen on a few GTs? And not even all the time (at least on mine). If it were the case that it is a feature meant for the Genesis, it should be happening to all. My gut tells me it is a hardware thing and they're really not too interested in finding the cause because it affect so few of us.

You might be right, but I intend to get to the bottom of this. I have a contact at corporate who I'm going to try and call right now. We'll see what happens!

Hey egore24, I see you're from Fitchburg. Did you get yours from Zimbrick West. Mine came from East. Keep me posted on what your corporate contacts says. That display comes up on mine about 40% of the time. I HATE intermittent problems.

Hey there Mbjst! Yep, picked mine up at Zimbrick West - first one.

It sure seems like this doesn't affect everyone, which is rather peculiar. Do you have anymore information than what's posted in this thread? The better the picture is painted, the better the chance for resolution.

I wonder if there is some common thread amongst us who have this issue?

I have spoken with my contact and he is talking with a field service engineer. He hopes to get back to me as soon as tomorrow. As soon as I know something definitive, it'll be here!

Otherwise loving the car!
