Engine malfunction light is on

Engine light just went on today (sat.)
Car seems to run just fine. I set up an appointment for Monday morning and will let you guy's know what the problem is.
This is the fifth Huyndai I have owned and this is the first time I had any problem that required warranty service. I guess my luck has run out.
P.S. I did check to make sure gas cap was on tight.

After you retighten the gas cap it can take uo to 50 miles before it resets. This is only sometimes but as you said you are taking the car in Monday. Let us know what the problem is...

OK got the car back..... turned out to be #1 O2 sensor
It was a P2096 code

I was thinking an 02 sensor but felt it was a new car and should not have been bad. I guess anything can happen. Did they say why it went bad? It would be interesting to know what the reason was.

2096 is for the Bank 1 Sensor 2 Ox sensor..
