I had a 2011 Optima 2.4 EX before my Sonata 2.0T Limited and it was a great car. Just got a good deal on a demo Sonata 2.0T, so I jumped. I liked the red interior better. It did feel a little smaller inside than the Sonata, but they are pretty much identical.

I personally really like the Azera. I'm hoping they discount them in the future so I can get one on lease for under $360/month in the Tech package. The Sonata really needs to get the same options the Optima gets, then it will be a clear winner for $32k. But it will compete against the Azera, so it probably won't happen

Azera's inetrior is very good when compared to Sonata. Lack of hi-tech features (like in Ford Fusion) in Azera is a big disappointment!

I'm still uncertian on getting 2013 Sonata Limited Turbo with premium package, spoiler, remote start for $28,500 OTD

or

2013 Azera with Technology package for $36,500 OTD

I can't speak for Florida prices on the Azera but in Wisconsin you can get a better deal if you shop hard. I purchase 2012 with tech in March for $33920 otd I much prefered the Azera over the Sonata because of the ride quality and more features. So far I have had no problems and mileage is great (29.85 mpg on long trips using mileage divided by gas purchased)

I'm not sure about prices in Wisconsin, but here in Florida, the best price that I received is $36,500 OTD. I just brought the vehicle!

Most of the dealers here in [Tampa, FL] said $38,500 OTD!

Base price is: $33,500 (+ 499 service! I'm unable to avoid that!) + Taxes, Tag etc.

The ride , interior and exterior quality is superb!

I got a phenomenal deal in Texas for the Azera without the Tech Package for $32,600, which is almost exactly $4,000 less than your quote. I'd say we both got great deals!

No, I meant without and I thought if I underlined it people wouldn't misread it as with. Guess it resulted in confusion!

Point is, I got my Azera without the Tech package for almost exactly $4k less than OP did...on second thought, his out the door price should've been less than $4k over mine to be as good of a deal but a decent deal nonetheless.
