Sorry for the caps, but I have been wondering how does the price hold up on their vehicles? Do they hold their value? I have a 2013 2.0t. Fwd limited. With leather, panoramic glass, and nav with 550 infinity sound.

It's hard to tell now. Older Santa Fes can't really be used for comparison (at least not 100% accurately) because Hyundai has gotten much better recently so hopefully the newer models will hold their value better after several years. The deals has some research that shows they will be best in class but I'll wait and see.
A lot of people are still afraid of the brand, even new. Imagine an used one. So I'd expect that only those that are into cars and know how Hyundai has gotten better will trust it to buy second hand. At least it's got the best warranty so there's a good chance when you go sell it, it will still have factory warranty left which helps get more money for it. |

You are right though, it is very early to tell how the long term resale value will be. Frankly, when I was looking around for cars for my daughters I looked at Sonata's (and this was before I knew much about the brand) and I felt that they were over priced...LOL. So coming from a used car shopper at the time it looked like Hyundai held their value. I do believe that they will not hold their value like Honda, Toyota or even Subaru. But in the long run, what type of value difference are you talking? Maybe a couple thousand dollars between comparable models and years? For example, I don't think that you will see a Toyota RAV4 sell for $10K and the same year Santa Fe sell for $6k. I don't worry a ton about resale. I would rather have something to drive that I truly enjoy rather than buy a car that I don't care that much for and all the while thinking "but I will get $2000 more when I sell it". Just sayin' |

Resale value of Hyundai is very good, and actual rank depends what site you look at. Here are a couple

I purchased a used 2011 Santa Fe about 6 months ago and was told it would have the full 10 year 100,000 mile along with the remainder of the 6 year 60,000 mile warrantee.

Here is the link. Look just past the chart and at the 10/10,000. There is a paragraph under the main text body that outlines the second owner restriction. Hate to say it but some sales reps are less than knowledgeable. https://www.hyundaiusa.com/assurance...-warranty.aspx |
