Has anyone here figured out if there are any good tie-down or tow loops under the SF?
I carry a canoe very frequently and I need two secure spots on each end to attach my straps that hold the front and rear of my canoe. The dealer mentioned something about removable plugs in the rear bumper which provides access to threaded holes in which a long bar with a loop can be screwed into. So that seems like an option for the back of the SF. But, I'm wondering if there is an option for the front? My Pathfinder, and Outback before that, both had nice big tow loops under the front and rear bumpers. I'm frustrated a bit by these modern aerodynamic under-bodies with no meaty pieces of metal to tie into. Any ideas on how I can get access to existing loops or how to add some?

there's usually tow hooks somewhere. most new cars have a small cover you can pop out of the bumper and then pull out a tow loop intended for vehicle recovery if stuck/etc. sometimes there is a cover and you have to thread in a loop that you find with your spare tire/jack accessories. something like that would work perfect if available in the front and the rear, especially if they stick out far enough that your rope won't rub paint anywhere.

Thanks for your feedback. My salesman made me aware of two plugs in the rear bumper just like you mentioned. They pop out and there is a bar with a loop that I can thread into the hole. I'll look at the front and see it I can find something similar. I'll post again if I do indeed find something.
