Some people had their old radios kept on w/o a record on Sirius's side when XM and Sirius became one. A friend of mine got lucky too and he cancelled his subscription but his radio was never deactivated.

Absolutely love the 2013 Santa Fe (with Tech), best value CUV out there and best looking inside and out. Waiting to see what changes will be made in the 2014 model before taking the plunge. (driving the wife's 2012 Kia Forte for now)
