Default 2013 Santa Fe Bulb Replacement Guide

Has anyone found or started to compile a list of the bulb model no. for the new Santa Fe? The owners manual uses some wonky bulb types, so I figured it would be nice to compile a generic bulb type list.

Sylvania has always been everyone's fall-back, but they haven't updated their online service for 2013 vehicles yet - and I've yet to find any other website (such as E-Autoworks) that has the vehicle listed either.

Exterior

Front
High-beam: H7L
Low-beam (halogen): H7L
Low-beam (HID): D3S
Front position lamp: W5W or LED?
Front Turn Signal/Side-marker: PY28W?
Fog light: H8

Rear
Stop/brake light: P28 or W8W or LED?
Tail lamp (on hatch): W8W or LED?
Turn signal: PY27W?
Reverse lamp (on hatch): W16W?
Rear side-marker: LED?
License plate: W5W?

Interior

Map light: 10W Festoon
Make-up/Vanity light: 5W Festoon
Luggage area: 5W Festoon
2nd row light: 8W Festoon
Glove box: 5W Festoon

If you know the generic Bulb Type No. for some of the weird Hyundai bulb types PM and I'll update the list.

There is an error in the owner's manual for the low beam headlamps..............they are H11 instead of H7.

I found out the hard way that the low beams use H11.

There is no glove box light despite the manuals.

What the 'f'. Is there no way to edit posts in this forum? So much for keeping the OP updated.

You get something like 20 minutes of edit time on this forum.

Two question...

Is there a difference between normal H7 and H7L ???

Someone know the exact color temp of the OEM HID Low beam (D3S) ?

Thanks!

I'm thinking its 4300K for the HID.

simplysolid, this thread is a great idea and should be stickied.

Yeah, kinda sucks that original post cannot be edited. Perhaps an option is to PM changes to John_Pare who is the Senior Mod, and he can modify the original post.

Colour temp is 4300, which most are. This was confirmed by retrofitsource.com when I contacted them about matching HIDs for the fogs (have abandoned that idea BTW).

This thread needs to be stickied to prevent future re-posts. God knows we've had 15+ lighting threads
