Inside steering wheel noise

On a recent trip to the service dept, I mentioned that the steering wheel makes a loud clicking noise anytime it's turned, the service guy said "it's normal and supposed to do that it's a spring"
Really? I find it hard to believe that Hyundai would make us listen to this annoying sound all the time. feedback?

My wife has told me that she hears the same noise it is a clicking noise. I personally havent heard it.

I have the same noise first noticed it with 400miles they replaced the steering column but the noise is still there I am going to make another service appt
