Stereo upgrade ?

Hi guys,

Have anyone upgraded the stock HU? Hope you guys post some photos

There are some 8" touch screen GPS Nav units on ebay in the $300 range that would be an excellent place to start. They are from China and are an exact fit plug and play for the dash.

I already tried those thing.. Not good.. I am trying another route....

Charles here is a site supporter. I hear his products are great. I plan on ordering one without the nav and adding his to it....

If I recall correctly, his does not replace a non-nav unit. It simply upgrades the existing Infinity Nav system that comes with the SF and gives more flexibility with the software, maps and using the multimedia.

I actually believe that one can go on the base models. It will keep the basic audio, no rear view camera. It will just add a good GPS.

Not true. You can replace the 4.3" non nav screen with his fully functional 3D gps system. If you dont have leather you will not have the rear view camera as standard but it can be added for a minimal cost.

Pretty much correct. If you add leather you get the rear view camera. If you don't want leather you can easily add a rear view camera to his system.
