Spalsh Guards

Anyone have the splash guards on their Santa Fe?

I was wondering if they are worth the cost and effort to put them on.

I have them....easy to install, look good, but probably won't stop a whole of stuff.

Mine came with them. We found most of the Santa Fe's came with some sort of accessories ranging from Floor Mats to Cargo Covers and Splash Guards. I've always preferred them - they typically do have some impact on keeping the grimy stuff from slinging up on the paint, and I do like to keep it clean!

Agree with above statements. I installed mine a few weeks ago. They installed easily, but I was a little disappointed that they don't extend down a bit further.

I agree with apmonte, mine are stubby and wish they had an inch more length on them, just so you know they're there... and what they're there for.

The nice thing I noticed is that the bottom trim, where most of the dirt accumulates and paint gets chipped from rocks and debris, isn't paint at all but a synthetic composite that will seem to stand up to road debris better than paint. I was pleasantly surprised to see that.

Yes, I am fond of that as well. Some people I know have actually gone as far as having the bottom rocker panel areas and lower bumper areas of their Pickup Trucks sprayed with Line-X (Spray on bed liner) to stop the chipping of those areas.

Going to have to get them for my car. Here in Florida you get all kind of stuff on your car. Anyone know what the dealer is charging? Amazon seems to be the best price online. Every where else wants to nail you on shipping costs.

I have thought about getting the bottom grey area sprayed with the Line-X in white, it would not be the Frost White Pearl but it might look better than the dark grey....plus it will note fade in a few years.

Any one done this in a simular situation?
