I keep getting "high beamed" by oncoming cars and by cars that I have passed on the highway, as if to say my high beams are on. I was reading to see if there was an adjustment for them in the manual but it just mentions to properly adjust your headlights if they are not self-adjusting. How do I know if they are self-adjusting? I have the AWD 2.0T with Tech and Premium. Thanks!

Had the same problem with my HID. I called the dealer saying that my headlights were WAY to high. Took him 10 minutes to fix the problem. Now my beams are a little to low but I'll try and raise them. One screw behind each one let you raise and lower your beams.

There should be an adjustment behind the headlight assembly which you can adjust the light. Use your garage door or a wall and park infront about 10 feet away and see how high they aim. If to high then adjust them lower to a proper hight.

Might have to try to do this myself so not to overwhelm them at the first service an they can concentrate on the more importatant issue, the fuel gauge. Also thinking of either getting whiter bulbs or trying a set of the cheap HIDs on ebay.
If these are really not any kind of special head light why do they look so different? |

Projector beams are very focused and you will see a very prominent line at the edge of where the lights are shining. I'll try to take a look later and see about cranking them down a little lower. Thanks!
