2013 Santa Fe Pricing

Hyundai USA updates their incentives, on their web site, the first of each month. IMO it is highly unusual for them to add an incentive on the 10th of the month, as they did with the $750 Loyalty Coupon. I believe they did this to immediately offset the bad press from the EPA MPG rating changes. But this only helps appease current Hyundai owners. So, perhaps there will be some other incentive/discount coming down the road in the near future if sales continues to be effected by the EPA MPG rating changes. But for me, the $750 Loyalty, and what I considered to be a good dealer discount ($2575), pushed me over the edge.

FWIW, I used the Plan A pricing to arrive at what I wanted to offer/pay the dealer. I took the Plan A price, reduced it $300, and offered that to the dealer. I also looked for a dealer with a relatively low Doc fee. I assured him I was firm on the price. Not a $1 more. At first he declined. I politely walked. A few days later, he called me and came down a little. I declined and again told him I was firm with my offer. Then the Hyundai $750 Loyalty Coupon came out. Today the salesman called 3 times before he agreed to my offered price. I was gambling the EPA MPG ratings reduction would get me the dealer discount I was after. I view the $750 Loyalty as my 6-7 year fuel compensation, paid in advance.

I'm in Northwest Wisconsin near Rice Lake. I can't do anything until mid January because we have a foreign exchange girl living with us and I need the seating capacity of the Enclave until she leaves.
I don't get the $750 loyalty either since I have never owned a Hyundai.

The MSRP is $35,6xx I believe. You got $3500 off MSRP so yeah, I would consider that good. Real good.

So, at a dealership near me in Salem, MA I'm seeing a 2013 Santa Fe Sport AWD with Popular Package 02 (heated seats, fog lights, etc. - NO leather or Turbo) for $25,630. Last week this same exact car was $26,200 at the same dealer. And I'm seeing this same exact car on other lots for closer to 28K. MSRP is about 28,200. Does $25,630 seem like a fair price?? Maybe the whole fuel economy issue is affecting sales....

The pricing I'm seeing on truecar.com is about 26,7xx, so that's a great price!

Buying my first car, need a little assistance...I am trying to deal with a local dealership. He offered me a 2.0T Base model FWD for $26,749 (plus delivery fee of $600 and taxes of $1695)...i could not come across any other incentives. Any advice on this?

What is msrp? Is it like $27,700?

You could also do Motozuma and get another $500 off but the catch is you have to wait 30 days from when you open the account.

It's not a bad deal but I wouldn't consider it smokin' hot either.
