Mine too - thanks Master Tech. Will give Hyundai a chance to get their dealers updated. How long do you reckon that might be?
Cheers - Peter.

Have had mine fixed, but still haven't had a letter, and yes mine's in the recall range.

So this doesn't apply to automatics, then? I'm surprised there's a difference between auto and manual calipers...?

Default recall

got my recall letter today and booked the car in for inspection, the dealearship told me it was just for a look and it would either need a set of brake levers or new calipers , they also said they have no spares in stock and whatever parts reqd will have to be ordered in , never said how long it would take to get parts, will have to wait and see . they are also advise leaving the car in gear as well as using the handbrake which suggests they don't have much confidence in the handbrake

Received my recall letter yesterday, says the same as above. I've not booked it in yet.

Had my car checked today. It required new rear brake calipers which were fitted within hours with parts in stock. No issues & excellent customer service from Hyundai Manchester. Thanks for making car ownership so easy.

Well, apparently it DOES apply to automatics as well, as I've now had my recall notice. However, the dealer needs me to make 2 visits - one to see what needs doing, another to do it. Great.
