Default Tetrax device mount

Has anyone tried this in their Accent? I just ordered the XWAY for my iPhone 5 and I'm excited to use it. I'll report back when I get it in a few days...

I've never heard of it, but it looks like a handy gadget to have. If you give it a thumbs-up, I'll order one for my GPS unit.

This is kinda cool, it takes me a long time to stick my gps on the window, and to take it off. I just don't like blocking the air vent though.

Would kinda freak me out in the winter blowing the heater right on my phone.

But this is a good train of thought. A problem with no elegant solution as of yet.

I use a vent mount for my 5" Garmin GPS. It's in the right hand of the two center vents which I have turned off/closed so it's not blowing cold or hot air on the back of the GPS. Less distracting than having it mounted to the windshield or on a dashboard bean-bag mount. Not as easy to see from outside the car. I love it.

Well I got this last week and have been using it for a few days. The phone stays nice and secure in either landscape or portrait views for GPS. Very strong magnets. As the Accent front vents slope down a little (with the slope of the dash) it was a little tricky to get on, but once secure it feels solid. Not the biggest fan of it being vent mounted, but I love the unit overall. I usually run heat on legs only, so the heat blast to the phone is minimal. Saves lots of money on buying a GPS unit to replace my stock radio. Placed just above the radio saves me from worrying about getting a ticket for obstructed view (illegal in Illinois). I run a retractable charge cord from the lighter socket to the phone. Best car mount for my phone I've ever used.
