Hatchback spoiler?

Does anyone know where I can get a spoiler for the hatch? I looked at the OEM ones and they're like $600 (which is insane btw). I kind of regret not getting the sedan now. Lots more choices for mods on there.

Keep in mind that the spoiler for the hatch that is on nice motor's ebay is unpainted. You can contact him to see if he has one that is painted already.

Silly question for the board:
can collision/body shops generally match Hyundai paints well enough to not tell the difference, or do you have to take your car or replacement part like this spoiler to a Hyundai dealer to get a good, matching paint job and installation?

Any given Hyundai Dealer is almost-certainly "contracted" to a local shop that uses DuPont or 3M or whatever brand paints; and they follow the paint formulae & test-spray then adjust the tinting (if they're a REAL Pro shop) for every single vehicle.

Very few Dealers have "in-house" collision repair shops, and if they do - they paint the cars same-same as the independent shop down the street.

Metallics and Pearls are the hardest to match - not for the tinting, but for the micron-size and density of the flake in the paint (and sometimes more than one type of flake in the same paint).

If they're good-enough with their Blending work, you won't notice the difference, even if one exists. This varies not only shop-by-shop, but paint-tech-by-paint-tech, and even day-to-day with the same guy doing it.....

How difficult would this be to install? I am a true novice but am interested in installing the SE spoiler on my GS as well. Is there any wire-splicing involved?

I think the wire would be the easiest part of it. Open the hatch and look at the wire for the brake light. If yours is like mine, there's some sort of junction in it already. How the spoiler bolts onto the hatch is something else though. I don't know whether the hatch has to come off first or whether the spoiler can be changed out without other disassembly. However, it's trivial for a body shop I'm sure. What they won't do or can't do is tell me ABOUT how much painting and installation would cost. I tried calling around today to get a rough idea but to no avail.

I got my spoiler for my GLS yesterday. I thought you would just have to tape it on and call it a day. LOL. But turns out I had to drill holes and bolt it down. The nice thing is that Hyundai gave me a really nice instruction booklet with a lot of detailed information. Hopefully you'll get that same booklet Like onier said, the wiring would be the easiest part.

I noticed that Nicemotors has changed the photos on Ebay, but now shows both styles. I have the GS, but would like the other. (SE?)
