I think I went a little over the top on this. I went to walmart and got a can of rust reformer, RustOleum.com
and a can of undercoating, RustOleum.com

Went to town on those bare metal spots haha
I HATE the cold weather (anything below 65 is intolerable ) but I'm born, bred and stuck here.......for the time being.

When it comes to preventing rust, you can't go 'over the top', IMO. At least you're well prepared for any freak snow storms that may come your way this winter.

Come down south and you'll learn to love 65 degree weather. Summer was avging about 100-110 this year.

I think Ill be set for winter once I can get under the car and spray that undercoat on the whole underside of the car.

100-110 is my kind of weather! I visited Arizona a few years ago and when I exited the airport at 8:30 PM, it was 108. I thought I died and went to heaven.

haha well at least you like it

Undercoating seems to be working great. Dried very quickly and hasn't peeled at all.

30 here, but at least I have a carport so I didn't have to scrape. I'm hoping to wash my car tomorrow if we get the heat wave the meteorologist is promising -- mid 50's.
