The main harness that goes through the firewall behind the dash right above where the steering column goes through. Fish it through the rubber grommet then electrical tape a ways up the cabin side and engine side to keep the sealing properties. Yes, it was a PITA to do.

Where did you end up wiring the remote wire to?

the remote wire can be run off a wire from the back of the head unit. I cannot remember now exactly what it does but from memory mine was a small solid yellow wire. This provided power from the ACC switch onwards which in turn told the amp to power up. If your not sure, best thing you can do is get a circuit test (small pen looking thing with a light on the end of it) plug the ground clip onto the cigarette light socket and poke around till you find a switched wire. I can take a look later this evening if you would like and post photos of which wire it is... This is presuming that the wiring is the same across countries

Thats really easy. If you get down low under the bottom of the fascia, there are 2 small holes there big enough for you to put a flat blade screwdriver in there. It takes a little force to get it off. I will take many photos for you

you can also go the mcgyver way and run a length of speaker wire to a toggle switch to mimic a remote signal. put one side in the remote spot on the amp and the other with power.

Apologies for the delay as I have been held back at work. I will be taking the photos when I get home shortly and uploading them for you.
