I just bought a 2013 Accent GLS sedan with 16" wheels & want to find the best option for winter tires/wheels. I have a set of 14" steel wheels I bought thru tirerack for my 93 Toyota Corolla with Blizzak winter tires already mounted so question is, are the bolt patterns the same & would these rims have enough offset to work on the Accent? If I could use these instead of having to purchase new wheels & tires it would be great, not wanting to run the 16" alloys thru salt & snow this winter. Thanks, Steve

If you bought them from tirerack then just call them and ask. They are going to be better qualified to get you the right answer then probably anyone here.

You said you already own these wheels? Jack up your Accent and see if they fit. I'm curious if they fit too because I can find used steel corolla wheels easier than Hyundai ones. I'm trying to find a cheap set of 14" steelies for winter.

Yes, I already own a set of 14" wheels w/ Blizzaks I bought for the Toyota. I plan on putting it on the lift & doing this on my next days off. Tire rack sells a 14" winter tire/wheel combo for the Accent or just the steel wheels alone for 41 ea, would also be a good option for those seeking a full size spare. Would it be necessary to try them on all 4 corners or just the front & if they fit fine there they will have plenty of room in the back?

Why will it not work if you have 4 of them?

I think that the hub or centerbore measurement for the 2012 Accent and a '93 Corolla are both 54.1mm.
That's according to this data: Wheel Bolt Pattern Cross Reference Database and Conversion Guide: TOYOTA*COROLLA Make Model Year Bolt Pattern OEM Wheel Size Stud Size Hub Center Bore Offset TOYOTA COROLLA 1988-02 Metric: 4 X 100 Standard: 4 X 3.94 14 X 5.5 12 X 1.5 54.1 H And regarding the Accent: 2012 Accent stock 16" alloy weight info Hi, "I was preparing my car for winter this afternoon and I took the stock 16" alloy off and I have found the below info." "Bolt pattern: 4x100 Center bore: 54.1mm Size: 16x6 Offset: 52 Stock wheel with stock 195/50R16 tire weight 38lbs on my bathroom scale. As per the tirerack.com, our stock tire weight about 18lbs, that makes the stock 16" alloy weight about 20lbs. The stock rim is HEAVY!" "Thank you." The steelies you have for your 1993 Corolla ought to be a match for bolt pattern, stud size, and centerbore. If they are 14" wheels, as you say it's difficult to imagine the width on them, plus the tires you would mount on them, giving any trouble with fender clearance. You didn't mention the offset figure for your wheels but there again it's hard to imagine 14" wheels suitable for a front wheel drive Toyota being so different that they don't clear the brakes, etc. The offset for the stock 14" steel wheels of a 2012+ Accent is 45 I believe, or 46 (according the Konig wheels tire fitment guide) on a width of 5.5". What Fits I'm not an expert but I'd guess if your wheels are anywhere even close to that offset figure, like 42, they should fit well. |

What does having four of them have to do with whether they will fit or not?
He is saying that the center hole of toyota wheels are too small and will not fit over the Accents rings on the hubs. Therefore they will not fit, if his info is correct. I don't know personally.
